A Note From Pastor Bruce
Hi gang!
I just realized that I have not let you all know just how well we are doing moving into August. Our numbers, both in attendance, and in finances are on the rise…which, as you know, was the main cause of many sleepless nights for me in June and July. I know I promised to tell you just HOW good things were going over the last two Sundays, …. But then, I forgot to tell you. So now… I guess I’ll have to tell you this coming Sunday (be sure to remind me if I forget)!
Additionally, I wanted to once again toot the horn for how well the “Recession Workshop” did a couple of weeks ago. It was just amazing! (Read my last web entry for a little more description.) But I wanted to follow through on a promise I made to publish an un-varnished list of ideas that came from the attendees regarding business ideas that might help both our fellowship, and the eastern Madera community around us. So, here is link to some of those ideas. I hope as you read them, you get one or two of your own, and will email them to us. We’re not going to take this recession laying down. We’ve got ideas, resources, and capabilities to alter the course of economic events, right here in this very time. Pray for God’s guidance for Oakhurst, (and by “Oakhurst” I mean all of eastern Madera county) and that SPC might use this time to bring people to the only wealth that truly matters; a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I love you guys!
