Check-In

We value the safety of your children at Sierra Pines Church!

We utilize a secure, computer based, check-in system for your children birth-4th grade, called KidCheck. If your child is new to Sierra Pines Church, you can follow the link below and register them online. The process is quick and secure.

Register your children, ages 0-4
th grade online at Kidcheck here.
Checkin Tags & Receipt
When you check your child into Sierra Pines, you will receive two name tags.

Please place one name tag sticker on your child, and give the other one to the classroom teacher at drop-off.
You will also receive two check-in receipts. No names are printed on the receipt, instead a family code is displayed. This family code is identical to the code printed on your child's name tag. Please Note: You must have your receipt to pick up your child.
Our safety policy at SPC concerning children

We are thrilled that Sierra Pines is growing as a church body! There are more and more families coming to our church and more opportunities to share the love of Christ with others.

We are also growing in numbers in the children’s department, and with that, it is time to discuss safety and security.

Our heart on Sunday morning is to create a
safe and secure environment as we teach your children about God.

We would like to present our safety policy to you as parents in order to:
a) Help you feel secure about dropping your children with us
b) Ask for your help as we all work together to ensure safety within the church.

Sierra Pines Church Children’s Education (CE) Safety Policy

1. Secure Classrooms
All of our volunteers go through an application and screening process. They are cleared and authorized to work with children, you will know they are cleared when they are wearing a name badge.

We will keep our CE rooms secure while children are present.
As parents, we ask that you limit your time in the classrooms/nursery on Sunday mornings.

However, there are options if you would like to observe the classroom.
1. You are free to observe through windows or doors.
2. You may request a guest pass and observe from a designated area of the room.
3. But the best way to observe and be involved in your child’s class is to volunteer. You can follow this link to get started on the application process.

2. Our Bathroom Policy
Please take your children to the restroom prior to drop off. If they do need to use the restroom the following is our policy:

Nursery/preschool-
*We will change diapers unless the parent requests otherwise. You have the option to be paged if you would rather change the diaper.
*We escort the preschoolers to the bathroom and stay there with them in case they need help. (Unless parents requests otherwise).
KIDMO-
*We walk the child to restroom
*We ensure restroom is safe.
*We wait for child in hallway and walk back to classroom

3. Check-in/Check Out
We utilize KidCheck in KIDMO and it will be coming soon to the nursery. Please note the following:
* With KidCheck, we will not release a child with out a guardian receipt.
* We will contact you incase of an emergency via text message (if available). Please keep your cell on vibrate during service.
* You may update your account from home at KidCheck.com to indicate any changes in guardianship, allergies, etc.

4. Drop offs
*If your child is nursery-KIDMO, please remain on site while your child is in our care.

Thank you for working as a team to ensure the safest environment possible for the children at SPC.

As always, please feel free to comment, express concern or make suggestions to Jodi Marr (KIDMO), Martha Anderson (Nursery), or Becher Marr (Rock).
