1 John 3:18
You are invited!
Women’s Ministry team hosts event all year long to provide you with opportunities to learn, grow, find friendship and purpose. From our Bible studies to our weekend retreat, our goal is to help women find faith, friendship, and fulfillment.
Our mission statement is, “Loving people and showing it with our actions.” 1 John 3:18. We want to put "hands and feet" on the church's mission statement, which is, "To love people as they are and to inspire them to all Christ calls them to be.”
Here are a few of the activities we have planned for 2013. We would love to see you there! To find out how you can get involved, contact Roberta Dunnicliff through the church office, 559-683-2882.

As women, we spend so much time taking care of others, we often neglect ourselves. Our Women’s Ministry at SPC provides opportunities for every woman to get her tank refilled by inspiration, celebration, and connection with like-minded ladies just like herself.
The ladies at Sierra Pines are truly genuine, caring, supportive, inspiring and you can feel their love for our Lord! I always enjoy spending time with them and being a part of the positive and uplifting impact they impart within our community.
Woman's Ministry events provided the perfect opportunity to meet new friends. I love the fellowship, as well as serving God. I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and meet some wonderful women.
From High School and into my adult life, I never connected to other women very much. When I came to SPC, I figured it would be more of the same. I was wrong. The women of Sierra Pines Church are living examples of the Women’s Ministry Mission Statement. “To love people and show it with our actions.” I feel loved and accepted here with many life long women friends.
I am very honored to be on the Women's Ministry team. I enjoy most of all, how Women's Ministry provides opportunities for the women of our church to experience God's love through fellowship and friendships. It is also exciting to be able to help support other ministries: missions, Vacation Bible School, high school scholarships, youth trip to San Francisco to help the homeless, and to offer sponsorships to our retreat.
Honestly I was hesitant to "hang with a large group of women" even at Linda's persistent encouraging to do so. I felt comfortable serving with the kids in KIDMO and the youth groups. God had other plans for me and since stepping out of my comfort zone to attend women's events and eventually to serve the Lord on the women's team, I have not only found dear friends but have been blessed to see women coming together for fellowship, fun and to encourage each other.
